Shree Gopal Ganapathi, Farmagudi in Goa


Shree Gopal Ganapathi, Farmagudi: This relatively modern temple houses the stone image of Lord Ganapathi, son of Lord Shiva, which was discovered by cowherds. The first building of this temple commemorates the celebration of the Portuguese retreat. Goa's first chief minister built the present temple and consecrated the new metallic alloy idol on April 24, 1966.
